Following the successful transition to the Routine Operational Phase after the Operational Readiness Review (ORR) in February 2025, the St3TART-FO project is now fully operational, with the FRM Data Hub running in routine mode and supporting the provision of Fiducial Reference Measurements (FRM) for the validation of Sentinel-3 altimetry products.
Building on this milestone, the team was well represented at the ESA Living Planet Symposium(23–27 June 2025, Vienna, Austria). Presentations covered our work on inland waters, sea ice, and land ice, highlighting how the operational FRM framework contributes to the validation of Sentinel-3 measurements.
A highlight of the week was a live demonstration of the FRM Data Hub and Jupyter Notebook workflows, held on 25 June at the Copernicus Booth, which drew strong interest from the community.
Looking ahead, the St3TART-FO team will continue to showcase results and engage with the community at the 2nd International Review Workshop on Satellite Altimetry Cal/Val & Metrology (22–25 September 2025), where further contributions are planned.
